• I have many years of experience managing AP, processing payments, cutting checks, managing reoccurring payments, handling hundreds of invoices. I have implemented approval processes for the betterment of my companies. I have AR experience invoicing for services provided, receiving and accounting for payments and tracking nonpayment. I can prepare reports for both.
• I have managed cash in many of my positions. Usually handling multiple bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany purchase cards. I am accustomed to reconciling cash daily, create my own ledgers and can provide reports on a moment’s notice. I consider myself very experienced with the reconciliation of bank accounts, receivable accounts and making deposits and recording them. On a side note, in my opinion, remote deposit scanners are one of the best inventions ever made.
• I have managed fixed assets, used accrual accounting, set up schedules for recurring GL entries and tracked depreciation in a FAS system. I have done a very detailed variance analysis on multiple entity books. My information was directly reported monthly to ownership, Executive Management and Board of Directors. I can find variances to do all the necessary entries to ensure clean accounting.
• I am an expert at processing 1099’s, collecting W-9 information, submitting electronically to the IRS and processing 1096’s. Monthly and yearly close procedures and reviews are something I have done for companies throughout my career.
• I have been a Payroll and HR Manager, I have been at the very least assisting to some degree in Payroll or backing up a payroll department my entire career. I helped implement a touch clock system in various locations around the country at one point.
• I have used all the following accounting systems...Microsoft Office, Quickbooks Pro, Jonas Premier, MAS 200, Solomon, Timberline, Great Plains, MAS 90 Certified, AS400, ADP Payroll, Citrix Payroll, ProBusiness Payroll
