Marissa

My name is Marissa. I went to school for English at Adelphi University in New York. I felt that if I could read and write well, I would be pretty versatile in corporate life. I am an insanely hard worker, completely adaptable and love to learn new programs and constantly educate myself. I started working at NBTY (Nature's Bounty) in October 2013, I worked my way up from just a temporary admin role into a permanent project coordinator position. I maintained headcount, three direct budgets for manufacturing, all packaging component ordering and having to analyze all cost spend. I accepted a job at Tate's Bake Shop in August 2015 as a direct buyer, it was not my forte, however, I learned so much in reference to Capital Expenditures, budget, A/R and A/P processes. From there I accepted a position as an Associate Procurement Analyst with Computer Associates (or, CA, Inc.) where I became exposed to the contractual side of procurement. It was at CA that I had to help all the high-level side of Procurement and Accounting in tandem. In April of 2017, I became a bookkeeper for Sprout Lending, a business funding marketplace. It is here that I have been maintaining all of A/R and A/P, process all payroll, reconcile all bank statements and also help businesses collaborate their own financials.
