My name is Esther Wagatwe Kimotho working as Finance Officer at Global Peace Foundation. Previously l worked as a Senior Auditor/ Financial Consultant with an audit firm, WIA East Africa (Certified Public Accountants of Kenya), whereby I gained tremendous experience in accounting and finance field of study through continuous auditing of Non- Governmental Organizations, donor funded projects, Service Industries, Manufacturing Companies etc. With my wide and practical experience in Finance, Audit and Accounting, I am skillful in preparing and maintaining proper, accurate and up to date books of accounts, preparing and implementation of budget, establishing sound internal controls and financial reporting procedures, maintenance of timely financial reports for the organizations.
I have successfully completed my Certified Public Accountants of Kenya, (CPA) K I have also completed course work for a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting/ Finance option) degree at Strathmore University. I am proficient in several computerized accounting applications e.g quick books , Sage , Excel and Enterprise Resource Planning.
